We’ve noticed the growing love for matcha among Malaysians and as matcha lovers ourselves, we’ve also felt the frustration of how difficult it is to access the real thing. Too often, what’s available locally is oxidised, blended, or of subpar quality, far from the fresh, vibrant matcha enjoyed in Japan.

At REI Matcha, we believe that matcha’s many proven health benefits and its true taste can only be experienced through fresh, high-quality leaves, carefully grown and stone-milled. That’s why we work closely with partner farms in Japan to bring authentic matcha directly to Malaysia.

We’re especially excited to share the world of single-origin cultivars. Each variety expresses its own unique character and taste profile, whether bold, smooth, sweet, or umami-rich, yet every cup carries the same promise: an experience that never disappoints.
